An auto stylist uncle tucked his kindergartner nephew under the jet fighter canopy of the 1958 Firebird III turbine car, infecting me Cool Car disease.
While in high school I watched Katherine Ross and some guy run around in a Duetto. I have one (Duetto, not Ross). In 1978 I bought a new Sprint Veloce. A stunning blonde jumped into the passenger and asked to go for a ride. By the time we reached Toronto, I proposed. Decades of adventures ensued (keeps with the ancestry of Irish pub singers and horse thieves). The tapestry of Alfa friends grows each year.
